Outside The Margin of Fraud
I read recently that Donald Trump had taken a lead “outside the margin of fraud” in Michigan — meaning a lead so big it would require too much voter fraud to overcome without the fraudsters being caught. But take a trip through the recent pages of NewsBusters and it’s reasonable to ask what is the margin of fraud.
Add “media literacy” to the list of phrases that should set off alarm bells throughout America. For the second time in six months, MRC’s Free Speech America has uncovered a program to promote leftist ideas and silence conservative views under the rubric of improving “media literacy.”
According to the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967, taxpayer-funded media must observe “strict adherence to objectivity and balance in all programs or series of programs of a controversial nature.” LGBTQ+ qualifies as such an issue.
One thing we’ve learned from Hamas’ brutal attacks on Israel is that there doesn’t seem to be much Hamas could do to fall out of favor with leftist media. Not fomenting terrorism for decades. Not raining down rockets on innocent people at a music festival. Not even unfathomable acts of barbarism, such as beheading babies, are enough to sway the leftist media tide against the violent, racist group that perpetrated these attacks.
