When 9/11 happened, most of the liberal media rallied to help unify the country and provide generally fair and balanced news in the fight against an existential threat. With the coronavirus, which is deadlier than 9/11, the liberal media have weaponized the threat to relentlessly attack President Donald Trump, divide the country, and promote their leftist agenda in an election year.

In an Apr. 2 letter to President Donald Trump, MRC President Brent Bozell denounced the fact that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), which funds PBS and NPR programming, received $75 million as part of the coronavirus/relief bill, the CARES Act.

Given CNN’s left-wing and rabidly anti-Trump bias, it was no surprise to see that the news outlet’s ratings in the first quarter of 2020 were so pathetic it didn’t generate even one show in the top 20 list. The Fox News Channel dominated the cable ratings and even MSNBC, which hates Trump as much as CNN, was, nonetheless, “able to break into the top 20 on multiple fronts,” reported Townhall’s Matt Vespa.
