Brian Williams, who lost his anchor slot at the NBC Nightly News in 2015 for repeatedly lying about his Iraq war coverage, and then settled in as anchor at MSNBC for six years, announced on Dec. 9 that he was retiring and heading off into the sunset with his estimated $50 million in wealth.
